Maintenance
At Hull2Prop, we offer a full line of services to keeping your dock in tip top shape. These services help in keeping docks safe, clean, and ensuring longevity for many years to come. Our maintenance services include piling cleanings, ladder cleanings, seawall cleanings, lift cleanings, floating dock cleanings, and seawall filter maintenance. These services are offered on both a recurring maintenance plan, as well as a one-time basis. Recurring maintenance plans are typically conducted on an annual, or bi-annual cleaning cycle.
Dock Piling Wrapping
Wrapping your wooden pilings with marine grade plastic is one of the best ways to prevent wood rot, as well as keeping marine organisms from burrowing into the wood and eating it. Once installed, there is little maintenance that will need to be done, aside from annual or bi-annual cleanings on your dock pilings. Plastic wrapping extends roughly 2’ above the high tide waterline, and roughly 9” down into the seafloor.
Dock & Seawall Inspections
Before any maintenance or repairs are conducted on your dock system, it is always best to conduct an inspection. Our inspections work to assess piling condition and strength, seawall condition, depth along your dock, and many other factors about your dock system.
