Propeller Service
Vessel propellers can be removed, repaired, and reinstalled, all while the vessel remains in the water.
How are Propeller Repairs Handled?
Having the unique equipment required to remove, reinstall, and handle propellers is very important to ensuring a job is executed properly.
Crews at Hull2Prop are trained on equipment that enables a set of propellers to be removed while a vessel remains in the water. This saves cost on haul outs, and can drastically lessen the time a vessel is out of commission.
We are able to service all sizes and types of propellers. This includes, but is not limited to: Ski boat propellers, sailboat folding propellers, pod drive propellers, surface drive propellers, outboard propellers, and conventional shaft mounted propellers up to 70″ in diameter.
While propellers are in for service, we offer the application of propeller coatings to minimize the marine growth that can attach. These coating options are always better than leaving propellers bare metal, and optimize overall vessel performance along with engine RPMs. Coating options we offer include Propspeed, Seajet, and conventional anti-fouling paints.

Propeller removal and replacement pricing is dependent on the diameter of the propeller. Emergency service and expedited repairs are available 24/7 365 days a year. We highly recommend carrying a spare set of propellers to avoid a lengthy disruption of vacation plans while propellers are off for repair.
